Edward A Bogdan III has built his career in government relations by specializing in the state budget process, electric generation issues, alcoholic beverage law, racing and wagering law, and uniform state laws, while continuing to represent a broad range of clients.
Immediately upon graduating from law school in 1992, Mr. Bogdan worked as a litigation associate for the Albany office of Duker and Barrett, where he worked with the Resolution Trust Corporation investigating potential professional misconduct in connection with savings and loans liquidated by the government. The firm has since merged with Boies, Schiller & Flexner.
While in law school, Mr. Bogdan served as a law clerk to the Assembly Office of the Minority Counsel. He also clerked directly for the Deputy Secretary at the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Bogdan holds an A.B. cum laude in History from Harvard University and a J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University.
